![]() ![]() I ended up with pain on the inside of my knee, about 2 inches below the joint, that wouldn't go away. I think I got a little too enthusiastic, sometimes doing long runs (for me that means 2.5 miles) followed by speed intervals the next day. Within a couple weeks I started to feel pain in my knee that would go away after a few minutes running. I started running with my husband (experienced runner) from time to time, then I started a 5K preparation program (the free one on Runkeeper app). ![]() I walked and did yoga, plus the occasional activity with family or friends, that's about it. I'm new to running, and I've never been very athletic before.
